Our company was founded in 1982 as a wine agency, mainly dealing in European wines. Today, Giertz is a well established wine importer, selling wines from all over the world. Our main customer is Systembolaget, the Swedish retail monopoly. In 2011 we sold more than seven million liters of wine, which makes us one of the ten biggest importers in Sweden.
Our aim has always been to offer good quality as well as the best possible value for money. Many of our producers and their wines have been on the Swedish market for a long time and several are market leaders in their segment. In addition, we have a keen interest in new ideas and new products, and cooperate closely with producers and wine-makers in order to develop wines that can suit the Swedish market.
Our portfolio includes a number of popular wines, of different origins and styles. A full list of our wines can be found under “Våra Viner”
The key to our success is our small but highly skilled and efficient team of eight people. Our office is located very close to the Grand Hôtel at Blasieholmen in the heart of Stockholm.
Managing Director and owner
In addition to his duties as managing director, Emil is responsible for wines from France and Spain.
He has been with the company since 1999.

Brand manager and owner
Björn has been working with Giertz since 1988. He’s in charge of brand development, organic wines and suistainable management.

Product manager
Previously one of the senior buyers at Systembolaget (the Swedish retail monopoly). Fredrik joined the company in 2005 and is responsible for wines from Australia, France, Germany, Portugal and Italy.

Logistics manager & Deputy Managing Director
Robert started in the company in 2008. He was previously working with management at our distributor company DLP. He is responsible of all logistics matters.

Product assistant
Lottie has been working with Giertz since 1996 with many different things. Since 2008 she handles HORECA sales and marketing.

Accounting, administration
Kasper joined the company in 2005 and works in the finance department.

Started at Giertz in 2010 and takes care of everything in the office from customer orders to samples.
